“Writing to understand, not to impress.”
I study governance, business, and systems—not just to analyze their failures, but to uncover what actually works.
Where others see policies, regulations, and reforms as abstract ideas, I look at how they play out in reality, who benefits, who adapts, and what makes certain initiatives succeed while others fail.
Why This Blog Exists
Most conversations about governance, economics, and policy focus on what should work. But the real insights come from asking:
“What actually works? And why?”
This blog is my public notebook, where I explore:
1. The policies, businesses, and innovations that drive real change.
2. Blind spots in governance and decision-making.
3. Lessons from both success stories and failures.
Who I Am

I’m an engineer by training and an avid reader by obsession, with a deep interest in how policies and governance shape the world around us. I’m drawn to understanding systems not just by their design, but by their real-world impact, connecting economics, history, and human behaviour to see the bigger picture.
I care about progress rooted in thoughtfulness and inclusion, and hope to see our society grow forward, guided by clarity and purpose rather than noise or jingoism.
Mira’s Editorial Approval 🐾

Every post must pass two tests:
1. If Mira, my feline research assistant, stays awake while I write, it’s engaging enough to publish.
1. If it makes at least one policymaker, investor, or strategist rethink their assumptions, it’s worth sharing.
